Tommy Pope's bold, unique style seamlessly blends in-your-face working-class humor with an intelligent observational subtext. About Po the "Crazy Asian"
Po has been wagering on football games since the 1980's, when he was just in 7th grade, and now brings his lengthy handicapping experience to the mic. During his day job Po, is an attorney and has experience with business. With a contrarian viewpoint on most games, his biggest nemesis is when the obvious bets come in and crush the Vegas book. His philosophy on betting employs the "Joe Bloggs" theory of probability. Po describes this theory to mirror how Princeton Review teaches students in preparation for the SAT's, where the imaginary common test taker is named "Joe Bloggs" and that same hypothetical person represents the common bettor who watches TV. Po believes that Vegas does not "lose" over time. And, in particular, it does not lose on high profile games. As a result, Joe Bloggs on high profile games will lose more than 65% of the time. Po believes that if Joe Bloggs is wagering more on any one particular game, it is that game that you should bet on the "house" to win. Po is passionate and wants to remain anonymous due to his potential to occasionally offend listeners.
